Liberty kids is a boutique Melbourne based label who have designed a unique line of children's wear. Our exclusive designs have been professionally illustrated and hand printed in Melbourne. Our introductory collection includes two unisex designs suited for children from ages newborn to two years of age.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe your "mini me" should also be able to wear stylish clothing without breaking the bank, hence our slogan, "freedom to be fashionable." We have designed our collection specifically for both genders, making it an easier choice for people who choose not to find out which gender they are expecting. In addition, they are perfect for passing on to future generations. Our garments are not only great statement pieces on their own, they are perfect for layering too.  By purchasing our bespoke pieces, you can be assured that your child will stand out from the crowd and not 'blend in.' After all, who wants to dress the same as everyone else?

SUSTAINABILITY

We are proud that the majority of our business is produced locally in Melbourne, Australia.  Some of our garments are manufactured in the UK which are BSCI (Business social compliance initiative) compliant. This is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the improvement of working conditions which is extremely important to Liberty Kids. All of our garments have been ethically made. 

We have chosen to use 100% cotton where possible.  Cotton is a soft, breathable and natural fibre which contains no harsh chemicals.  Cotton is non-allergenic which can be beneficial for little people who have allergies, eczema or asthma.  It keeps the body cool in summer and warm in winter, making it the perfect option all year round.

In addition, the inks that we have used on our garments are PVC free, water based and environmentally friendly. They contain no co-solvents and are Oeko Tex 100 Grade 1 certified, which is the highest grade approved for skin contact garments. This is especially important for children's clothing.
